We are all aware of how unpredictable the British weather can be, even more-so for homes positioned on the Suffolk coastline. So, how can you protect your home further from the worsening harsh effects of winter, especially if you’ve already installed double glazing? The next step-up to reduce your energy bills and increase comfort is to future-proof your home by upgrading your windows, doors, conservatories, and extensions with robust Comfort Glass.
Able to enhance most of the window styles that we install, advanced Comfort Glass features two high-performance panes of glass with a built-in laminate layer and a special transparent Low-E coating designed to stop 56% more internal heat from escaping. Adding an extra layer against the cold and stopping valuable heat from escaping, upgrading to Comfort Glass allows you to beat energy price rises, whilst keeping your family safe and secure for longer. Even better, Comfort Glass delivers 20% better noise reduction than older-style double glazing – guaranteeing a peaceful night’s sleep and tranquillity in areas that are vulnerable to external noise, e.g., homes near busy roads, schools, airports, and more.

Standard double glazed windows feature two panes of glass which surround one chamber that is filled with argon gas. However, Comfort Glass incorporates a microscopic, transparent metallic coating that allows the sun's heat to pass through the glass to create an ambient temperature inside, whilst simultaneously blocking out 99% of the sun's UV rays to prevent your furniture from fading. A laminated layer is permanently adhered between the two panes of glass to help protect you from break-ins, as well as notably minimising exterior noise.
Comfort Glass Plus also provides effective solar control features. Blocking out 50% of external heat from the sun while keeping in 65% more internal heat, it delivers maximum light, cooler interiors, and lower energy consumption.

Stopping 56% more internal heat escaping, you'll save more money on your heating bills as less energy is needed to warm your rooms.
Draught-proofed, extra durable, and energy-efficient, it's the ideal solution for homeowners looking to reduce the carbon footprint of their home too.
Once you have upgraded to Comfort Glass, you'll immediately notice that your Sudbury home is a much quieter and peaceful place to be. Substantially improving noise reduction in the home, Comfort Glass works hard to minimise disruptive noise pollution from outside - providing 20% better noise reduction than older-style double glazing.
